From what I'm seeing, the foundational American men's wardrobe is in, and there's no better brand for it than Filson. After years of chasing high-fashion sneakers and stretchy pants, now I'm seeing that guys are realizing the shit our dads wore were the coolest after all. What Filson makes—denim, bulletproof sweatshirts, and sick ass jackets—is the look right now. To be fair, I'm using the word in loosely here. Dads have never stopped dressing like this. It just took this long for me to get that dressing like pops and being into the things he's into—hunting, fishing, and whiskey—is actually, cool. The man has it all, has it all figured out, and it's about time for to raid his closet. Or, you know, build your own. If that's not your vibe, take a cue from the #menswear days and just put a few of the more versatile Filson things in your city boy closet. I'd say a cruiser jacket, flannel, or duffel bag would be a safe place to start. After that you can buy a country house and go full frontiersmen with shearling coats and rifle cases.

The last thing I'll say is that you don't want to sleep on these. Filson keeps sales to a minimum, and it rarely does sales this big. So if you're considering anything on this list, I would suggest buying it as soon as possible. Then log off, plan a hike, go fishing, or just take that new jacket for a spin around the block.
