Jennifer Lopez Pulls Off Micro Shorts for Fall with This Knit Set

She styled the look with boots that also emphasized her legs

November may officially be in full swing, but the colder weather months are no match for Jennifer Lopez’s daring street style.

This past weekend, the multi-hyphenate headed out in New York City dressed in a brown monochromatic outfit that embraced one of summer’s hottest trends: the micro shorts. The style got a seasonally appropriate update thanks to the cinnamon-colored knit set that Lopez wore.

The Gucci set consisted of a cozy cardigan, complete with a rhinestone-embellished collar and tortoiseshell buttons, plus a pair of matching hot shorts. The “Let’s Get Loud” singer stayed warm by adding a dark brown turtleneck, knee-high stiletto boots from Saint Laurent made out of glazed toffee-colored leather, and tan leather gloves. For a final touch, she polished off the look with a rusty brown leather shoulder bag and a glossy maroon lip.

Judging from some of her most recent street style sightings, Lopez seems to have developed a habit of repping summer trends for fall outings.

While walking the red carpet for an Unstoppable photo call last month, for instance, she stepped out in a leg-baring bubble miniskirt, which she expertly styled with a slouchy collared blouse, a cream zip-up jacket, a wide leather belt, and platform stilettos. On another occasion, the Golden Globe-nominated actor shared photos of herself on Instagram wearing an incredible metallic slipdress from Erdem’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection, which she paired with a long crystal-encrusted denim coat, transparent PVC heels, and a beige ruched clutch bag.
