Rihanna Welcomes Fall in a Huge Fur Shawl and a Tracksuit

The queen of high-low fashion has done it again

Leave it to Rihanna to make a tracksuit feel like the peak of luxury.

While getting dinner at celebrity hot spot Giorgio Baldi in Los Angeles over the weekend, Rihanna delivered a flawless high-low fashion moment.

Getting in the mood for fall, she stayed warm in a plain black track jacket, featuring a turtleneck, a zipper down the center, and white lines along the length of the sleeves. She paired the look with a few other simple elements, including black leggings, rectangular black sunglasses, and brown and white Puma sneakers.

But the real star of the show was the massive dark gray fur shawl the singer draped around her shoulders. The glamorous piece was so long, it nearly grazed the floor as she walked.

Earlier this year, Rihanna reflected on how her relationship with partner A$AP Rocky has influenced her everyday style.

“Isn’t he the best? I be feeling bummy as shit next to this man,” she said during an April 2024 conversation with Interview. “I feel like, goddamn, I look like his assistant. I’m getting on a plane. We should be in sweats. He wants to be in a full Bottega suit. I’m like, ‘Why you got to do that to me.’ ”

She added that her sartorial prowess extends to their kids, RZA and Riot, as well. “It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’ ” she said. “Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”
